Week two has been great. I successfully navigated a family gathering and a recipe exchange without totally derailing, so I'm pretty happy with that. I'm finding myself getting impatient at not being able to physically see the results yet, so I am trying to stay focused on how much better I feel.
I love that everyone is throwing their fitness tips my way. I've taken my measurements so I can also track inches lost. {Thanks Amanda} I'll be excited to see how that one goes. Losing inches is where smaller clothes come in, so I'm excited.
I've decided to take a straight on and profile shot once a month so that I have a visual diary of my progress. {Thanks, Missy}
Lastly, my mini-goal for the week is to drink half my body weight in ounces of water. {Thanks Misty} The trick is going to be not to chug large quantities at once. That apparently slows your metabolism. (Mind you I learned this five minutes after drinking a very large glass of water) That is no bueno.
