Easter Egg Hunt #1

Let's pretend like it hasn't been two years since I last updated this blog. Oddly enough I have had my craft blog for 2 years. Coincidence? I think not! I am going to try to get back in the habit of updating the family blog when we do something fun or have something to share.
Saturday, I hosted a Duncan Hines House Party. We decided it would be fun to have a little Easter egg hunt for the kids too. Everybody brought some eggs and we "hid" them in the grass while the kids were playing on the playground. Here are the pictures of the kids egg hunting.... (click for larger pics)

Morgan was hopping all over the place. The pictures are too hilarious not to put up.

Hop! Hop! Hop!

Joshua was super excited that he found the last egg. I spotted one camouflaged in the grass and I pointed it out to him.

Between school, church, and grandma we have 3 more Easter egg hunts planned for this year!

Bubblicious

Friday night when Ryan got home from work we went outside and spent some family time blowing bubbles. The kids had such a blast and it was cute to see Joshua learning how to use these new bubble wands. Check out the huge bubble he had going in the top left picture.

Husbands say the darndest things!

It's a well known fact that kids say funny things, but Ryan has had some real doozies recently.

About a week ago Ryan was helping Joshua say a blessing on the food. Ryan decided to throw in there a "please bless that the food will taste good." Thanks for that vote of confidence honey!

Then last night Ryan reached over to me while we were watching tv and started rubbing my arm. I commented that his hands were cold but it felt nice. His response, "oh yeah, I was just touching my cold feet." Well gee, thanks but no thanks Dear!
Sweet heart that he is offered to rub my face for me next. (This time he was joking at least!)
